“Raisa Terk was only a child when her father was called into the Russian army. During the Nazi occupation, she fled with her mother and brother to Magnitogorsk, an industrial Russian city. Her grandparents were pushed into the Mogilev Ghetto and later perished at the Mogilev/Podolskiy Concentration Camp. At war’s end, her father came home and the family was able to return to Mogilev.”
