Artifacts - Mark Blank

Age 24, after graduating from the Electrical Institue, 1954. Black was sent to Frunza, Kyrgyzstan, to work as an engineer at a telephone station. He met his wife, Zinaida, while living there and they married in Frunza.

Age 21, when he was a student at the Electrical Institute in Odessa, Ukraine, circa 1950.

Mark Blank, age 3,w hen he was a young boy in Mogilev, Ukraine. Blank, an only child, has memories of this photo hanging on his grandfather's wall along with other family photos, 1933.

Age 12, during the occupation in 1942. During this time, his school was closed, so Blank studied at home with his own books. After the occupation, he was able to return to school and advance as a result of studies that he had completed on his own.
